I've seen lots of people come and go in this business over the years
and I've marveled from time to time that some are extremely successful

there was a critical component in my own process that had not been dealt
with in sufficient substance and just down right specifics.

You see, home staging and interior redesign are visual, creative
businesses. And as such, it just doesn't make very good sense to try to
build a business without the proper visual aids.
Any business that deals in interior design to any extent needs to be able
to demonstrate visually the benefits and features it offers for a prospect or client. Words are great and
words are needed.
But there's got to be a great visual presentation to go with the words to
really be successful.
I recognized this a long time ago but . . .
I didn't do anything about teaching students how to create what they
needed for themselves. Instead I went and created great tools for them to
purchase and use so they didn't have to reinvent the wheel and could jump
start their business right out of the gate.
Well, that proved wildly successful - but only to a degree. It was
especially beneficial for start-ups, but didn't help those that really got
their businesses launched and who began to have their own story to tell with
their own set of wonderful photographs.
And that's where the system fell apart.
So it finally dawned on me . . .
that it was time to teach students how to create their own unique staging
and redesign portfolio which would not only speak well of their own talents
on the local level but would dramatically increase their opportunities to
garner new business.
